He didn't really lose his arms due to the machine but the surgery after would have made him lose it instead

Went immediately into shock. They did the right thing getting tourniquets, but with that much blood loss, I doubt he survived. If anyone has an update please share...

Running to immediately get a tourniquet was so smart. Although I wish someone would have sat him down in case he fell over.
